In Golf, are You Addicted to Average?

Hi, my name is John, and for years I was addicted to scoring at the average American male rate. Almost all the research we did indicates that the average score for American males is between 101 and 103 for 18 holes on a regulation, par 72 course.

And that would likely be higher if we played totally by the rules and reported all our scores.

We all know the optimism we feel as we stand on the first tee, ready to play the round of our life.

All too often, we also know the disappointment of getting a good round started, then somehow finding a way to get several double bogeys and a triple in the last five holes. Once more, no matter what our hopes were, we have to write down a triple digit score on our card, and wait till the next round to score the way we want.

Part of the problem is pretty simple. If we played Kobe Bryant one-on-one for a ten point game, the chances of winning are pretty minimal. On the other hand, Phil, Tiger, Ernie and us... on any give hole we could get that elusive birdie and they all get pars.

Choose Optimism

That subtle fact governs our philosophy, and we begin to think that we're really capable of playing that way for an entire round.

The fact is... we aren't Tiger, Phil and Ernie.

We are who we are, and we've got to learn to play within those parameters.

Join us and learn how to improve your score by training your mind, and your swing.

Here's the goal.

Develop an 18-Step System to Score Bogey Golf  EVERY TIME YOU PLAY.

Kiss the 100-plus score goodbye. Say hello to the 90's.

We will show you how to achieve this goal by discovering the following
  • Train your mind to make the wisest decision on every shot.
  • Learn how to turn every hole, even the hardest, into an easy-ending par 3.
  • Discover how to practice with scoring in mind, not just hitting 250-yard drives.
  • Find the method of "hearing the click" to produce straighter, firmer shots.
  • Develop the enjoyment of Thinking Like YOU, not like the guys who play on TV every Sunday.
Our next post will get you started on the road to golfing YOUR best with the swing you've got.

After that, after you experience the joy of scoring around 90, then we start the next venture into the realm of scoring under bogey golf.
